The quality of the food was excellent, as was the overall presentation on the plate, very professional. The room was fist class as was the hotel. The breakfast was great which was a surprise as the last time we were there ( September) breakfast experience was very poor, but I am glad to say that they have improved to a five star. The manager was very friendly as were the staff.

The rooms were bright, clean and overlooked a lovely little court yard. There was a nice touch of there being a free continental breakfast which was unexpected. We only saw one member of staff while there as only stayed for a couple of nights, but he was very friendly and helpful and made sure our bags were in our room when we came back to check in. Would definitely stay there again 👍

Old building, carefully renovated. Room was small but more than adequate. Best bathroom in the UK. Seriously. We had dinner and stayed over night, but it would also be an excellent lunch break spot as food was excellent. Plan to return!
