The building is an old monastery from the 1200s with a beautiful cloister. The staff was very warm and welcoming and happily accommodated our every need. The bar and restaurant are stunning with views to match. Cocktails were served in the cloister during one of our evenings there. The pool area with access to the sea is incredible. The restaurant above the pool serves excellent food and, again, the staff was amazing! Views, views, and more views! We stayed in their two bedroom “special” suite (including private elevator) since we had two of our teenagers with us. The view from its terrace may be one of the best in town, complete with an electric retractable sunshade.

The view is beautiful! The hotel itself is elegant. The bedroom itself is not bad, nice we have a balcony and sea view. The shower door is a little tight to get in and out; good we lost weight before the trip, but probably challenging for morbidly obese guests. It was very nice of the staff to give us a welcome surprise! Celebrated our wedding anniversary! The staff at the restaurant are all very hardworking (worked from breakfast to late dinners) yes despite their very long hours, they still maintained a very pleasant, sincere, and happy demeanor. And of course, they are back early the next day! They were was very nice! I highly recommend! The only thing I wasn’t so thrilled about was when my purse was placed on the floor (from the chair) in the bedroom to accommodate the throw pillows on the chair.

This property is in great location it is only 20 minutes walking distance to Amalfi town. The owner was kind enough to update our room to a sea view with no extra charge. Although facing the main road, but the view is phenomenal. Breakfast was an extra $10 /person. It was a basic continental breakfast, so we didn’t take it. Th c property was very well maintained and clean. There is a SITA bus stop only 15 meter away from the hotel entrance. However, I suggest to walk to town and take the bus from there because if you have luggage or if the bus is full (which usually they are at this time for the year) It won’t stop for you. Amalfi is beautiful but their bus system is very unreliable and disorganized.
Overlooking the sea, Hotel Villa Felice Relais features a sun terrace and elegant rooms. The property offers free parking. The rooms come with air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, and mini-bar....

Perfect location, just a couple of minutes from the buses & ferries (pretty flat just a few stairs into the hotel). Room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful (helped carry our big cases up the steps, walked to the port with us when we couldn’t find where to get bus tickets). Breakfast was plentiful and very good (ham, cheese, bread, croissants, cake, yogurt, fruit, coffee).

Amalfi is a great place on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, while Positano may be the most romantic seaside village, Ravello is also great and quite different being high up the coastal cliffs while still having stunning views. Ferries are absolutely the best way to get around so you don't have to worry about parking or traffic. There are so many great restaurants sprinkled along the thin winding streets that open to amazing small courtyards. I've heard the crowds can be challenging in the summer. For us, June was great, very nice weather, calm sea and perhaps not as crowded. The whole experience is unforgettable!

Unfortunately, the Amalfi Coast is just too crowded.
Unfortunately, the Amalfi Coast is just too crowded. It is beautiful but even in a transition month (May), there were so many people that it is difficult to move around. Add to that they way Italians drive coupled with scooters up and down pedestrian walkways makes it way more stressful than such a beautiful place should be. Feels like you at Disneyland on a summer day.

Amalfi City provides superb access to the entire Amalfi...
Amalfi City provides superb access to the entire Amalfi Coast and boasts a variety of attractions within the city itself. During our visit, we explored the famous Paper Museum and its surrounding shops, and hiked up to the ancient Belvedere Monumental Cemetery. Our adventure extended past the cemetery to the neighboring town of Atrani, which is smaller and offers a more authentic, less tourist-centric experience. The extensive port area in Amalfi also offers numerous opportunities to embark on a boat and cruise along the Amalfi Coast to Positano or the island of Capri. Not to be missed is the grand Amalfi Church at the main square, Duomo di Amalfi, with its unique and stunning exterior, while the Church Museum grants access to important cultural and religious artifacts from the region.
Lining the shore, a host of charming restaurants provide opportunities to enjoy a limoncello or spritzer and bruschetta with views of the water. Among our favorites are the Terminal Restaurant, offering reasonable prices for wine and food adjacent to the bus stop, and Carlo Fiamma, which serves excellent pizza away from the usual tourist paths.

Great place to take a boat into Positano.
Great place to take a boat into Positano. Just be sure that Amalfi parking lots will be available when you pull into town with a car, sometimes the town of Amalfi does not let you pull into town and park unless you have a booking or the right license plate.
- The most helpful and welcoming receptionist, Jan Franco. He welcomed us and helped us as we arrived very late at night after a long hectic trip.
- Very nice room with an amazing view of the Amalfi coast.
- Breakfast buffet is just right! Very good quality food with outstanding service.
- Staff are very helpful with recommendations for what to do in the coast.
- Neat housekeeping.
- The shuttle bus provided by the hotel to the beach and city center makes life so much easier.
- Very nice relaxing Pool.
Great small but comfy bed and breakfast with 5-star service. They cleaned the room every day and they had best breakfast in Italy, freshly prepared for you by the host every morning. They even served fresh orange juice, something you usually don't get even in hotels. Location is the best just 7mins to Port and main area but at the same time in quiet location, away from the noise, you sleep like a baby. Overall best bed and breakfast and certainly best choice in Amalfi and the area.
amazing location with incredible panoramic views of the glorious amalfi coast from the bedroom and also the very pretty garden has so much charm! Antonio was an exceptional host, he and Nicoletta gave us a warm welcome on arrival with drinks & crucial local information to cater for every need for our trip. He couldn’t have done more for us to ensure everything went well.. local restaurant recommendations and the hotel shuttle bus was so so important and appreciated!!
Residenza Amalphia is a hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast! This is a must-stay. From the attention to detail, warm hospitality, and comfortable rooms - I haven’t experienced anything quite like it. Gerardo was a super host and made us feel like we were part of the family. He was full of knowledge about the area and was very helpful in booking us a private boat tour, coordinating transfers, and making dinner reservations.
Top notch cleanliness, very warm welcome - Gianfranco greeted us at the Amalfi Square and helped carry our luggages up hill from the square to Casa Mao, being we were his first guests for 2024(!). The history of Casa Mao from a family home to a lovely hotel with amazing rooftop terrace overlooking a wonderful scenic portion of the Amalfi Coast. Warm shower, comfy bed, natural lights & high ceiling in the guest room.
The ApartHotel is located right in the very center of Amalfi, close to everywhere you want to go, but in a quiet side street of the main street. The room was very nice, recently renovated, and just perfect. The owner, Christian, was very helpful with everything, from getting a parking spot to how to get around the Amalfi coast. We are planning the next trip already, and would definitely book a room with him again.
The apartment is new and equipped with everything one needs, it’s in a quiet location a short walk away from stunning views of the Amalfi coast. The hosts Angela and Giuseppe are incredibly kind and have been super helpful! They explained everything about the apartment and gave us tons of recommendations on how to travel around the Amalfi coast, tours, etc.
We had a wonderful time at il Munazzeno!
Clean and cosy 2 storey building located in the tiny village of Pogerola, 15min drive to Amalfi Town by the sea. My room windows opens up to a beautiful view of the range of mountains. Room is spacious and done up simple but pretty. Bathroom has modern facilities. Can see the Amalfi coast from here. Breakfast was good, with warm boiled RCS’s, coffee, bread, croissants, cheeses, salami and fruits.
Maurizio met us at our ferry and him and his son carried our bags to their B&B and during this walk he recommended us different things to do, see and eat at which was extremely insightful. The B&B is perfectly located within both Amalfi as well as good location to travel to other parts of the Amalfi coast (Capri, Ravello and Positano). The views from the B&B and the room were just amazing!!!!
A well-managed property on the Amalfi Coast offers a beautiful view and excellent communication through WhatsApp by a father and son duo. They warmly welcome guests with sweet treats and strive to make their stay comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located just 100 meters from a bus station, making it an ideal destination for a memorable and picturesque experience.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful stay, and the rooms are very clean. Gianna, the host, was also very welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit the Amalfi Coast as it is walking distance from the ferries and town centre.
I love the location, cleanliness, and helpfulness of the staff. I also appreciate the housekeeping cleaning the room 2x a day and even providing evening snacks. This is the cleanest hotel I’ve been to in Italy. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Amalfi Coast.
We loved everything about this place. The way they decorated it, super clean and relaxing. The staff is amazing and helped us with everything. We are so gratefull and would love to come back one day. Would very much recommend this place when youre coming to the Amalfi coast.
The location is very nice - close to Amalfi with private parking, which is hard to find at the Amalfi coast. Once parked, there is no need to use the car, since everything can be reached by foot, bus, or boat. The staff was amazing. We would definetly choose the hotel again
If you want to feel the Amalfi coast, you should choose this house. It's a perfect and amazing view of the sea and the coast. With its big balcony, well furnished apartment, and two bedrooms, you will have all you need. The hosts were also very communicative and helpful.
It was a truly unbelievable place. What a great place to end our trip on the Amalfi Coast. The bath tub was spectacular. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we couldn’t find a porter to help with the bags our host helped us carry the bags to the bus stop.
The hotel and staff were amazing! It felt very homey and had a nice view of the town’s beautiful duomo. The breakfast was excellent too! Well worth it to stay here if you are planning on staying on Amalfi Coast.
We loved finding a luxury hotel in Amalfi Coast. The location was spectacular with unbelievable views. The hotel itself was modern and clean. The food and beverage was delicious and well presented.
