Staff were exceptionally friendly, very helpful, facilities a bit outdated, but still clean and functional. Buffet breakfast was basic but that was fine, nice and quiet area and close to town

The room was quite spacious. The bathroom and vanity were spotlessly clean. The indian dishes were quite nice.

Location was excellent, a 15 minute boat ride from the city to access eateries & other entertainment for children. pleasantly quiet in the evenings with a beautiful image of the mountains at sunrise.

We had a wonderful stay. I celebrated my birthday there. Every staff was so kind and friendly. They all remember my daughter's name Doris. We definitely will come back next time.

It was in a beautiful location, I done lots of amazing activities while staying (snorkelling with reef sharks/ school visit/ hike up the mountain)
The whole village seemed to welcome me.
Please remember this is a homestay in a very small village with limited supplies, it wasn’t a bad thing but be prepared for bucket washes, not much privacy (you are in a homestay after all) and the home life of a family living on an island.
I felt very safe as a solo traveler!
Offering free airport transfers, Fiji Gateway Hotel is located directly opposite Nadi International Airport. Guests have a choice of 2 restaurants, a bar and 2 swimming pools.

the 2nd largest city in Fiji, quiet and unassuming during the christmas week. The town is only open to a mall and a few shops during public holidays and one is assured of a bright blue sky and sun through out the day.

Not much of a tourist vibe, nice to see the real Fijian side of the island. People very friendly but taxis happy to charge more than they should. A couple days to relax is enough but wouldn't plan the whole holiday around this area, 3 day's of your trip is more than enough.

Landers Bay is set in a very quiet isolated location, a taxi is required to visit anywhere but well worth it. The accommodation was lovely and the beach, bar, restaurants were a minutes walk from our room. A great place to unwind and just relax. We had quite a bit of rain but being warm rain, it did not matter.
We did not visit Lautoka as were happy staying at the resort.

Lautoka is thriving hustling busy town with everything you need. Great clothes shops and the markets are good also.
Not much to see in Lautoka besides the markets and shops. Main attractions are near Nadi but if you want to visit the islands you can depart from Anchorage Resort..

This is a chill factor #9 on my gauge.
This is a chill factor #9 on my gauge. Although, like most places, post Covid and at this price point, the Anchorage Beach Resort is a little run down and scruffy. It is a wonderful place to relax. Only a 25 min drive from NADI. The staff down at the beach restaurant, bar, pool, were wonderful, warm and welcoming. The reception desk staff were not so friendly.

Anchorage needs to improve their Room standards & booking efficiency if charging $480+. FAMILY reluctant to visit in future and may try out First Landing, Nila etc or stick to Nadi if not Sapphire Villas - superb.
It is a very unique property in a lot of different ways. It is on a private island just off the coast of Lautoka (city and port.) The resort runs a shuttle boat back and forth for guests and staff. The staff could not have been nicer, they treated us like family! Our spacious bure was just a few feet from the beach so we could enjoy the ocean sounds 24/7. Because they were not busy, they were allowing families from town to visit as guests which we enjoyed. It would have been lonely without them.
The pool was well shaded and there was a nice bar/restaurant 15 minutes walk up the rail tracks that was amazing (great prices and excellent service at The Boatshed. Pictures added to show the tracks and the Boatshed). Day trips offered at reception were decent (including free bus transfers to Lautoka and Nadi for shopping if you wanted) and the spa options were reasonably priced with a good variety. The local fish was delicious.
Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and an inviting pool. Large, clean rooms which were serviced daily (if required). On-site restaurant with excellent service and good food. Beautiful views with the water right in front of the hotel. Local shops with many supermarkets and little food stores within walking distance and there were lots of taxis available if needed.
Very accommodating staff , entertaining both lunch and breakfast outside restaurant hours. Friendly and genuine interactions which we always appreciate :)
The Bures are set in a beautiful 5 acre block , a jungle oasis! The view from the shower was so very soothing as it looked over the surrounding foliage .The finishes were tasteful. Would 100% recommend to anyone.
The view from our Oceanfront Bure at high tide was lovely. It was also great having our own outdoor seating area that was enclosed by fly screen walls.
It was great having Vuda Marina only a short 5 minute walk away with a great general store and fantastic restaurant/bar - The Boat Shed.
Breakfast was a good quality buffet style setup with plenty of options and the restaurant itself was cheap and cheerful. The pool was large and we also enjoyed the gym which was simple, but had everything you needed. Our room was very large and bed was super comfortable.
The staff at Anchorage were wonderful, very helpful and helped us organise our days adventures. The bed and pillows were very comfortable as well.
The shuttle bus to Lautoka and Nadi really helped us get around.
I would recommend staying.
The staff were extremely friendly. The Fiji Orchid is a hidden gem which is a bit out of the way and out of the hustle and bustle. We used a rental car but they do offer airport transfers.
Very good cook (the pizza was the best I've enjoyed in years) and very helpful bar manager Joey. The island setting is attractive, while only 5 minutes' boat ride from Lautoka.
The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The food was excellent, with a diverse range of options available on the menu. The evening entertainment was highly enjoyable.
The sunset and sunrise, we had a nice walk around the hotel and it was just a natural beauty. We lay in the hammock and enjoyed the peace and the sound of the ocean.
Nice location outside of Nadi. Nice long beach to walk on and walking distance to Vuda Marina restaurant. The on site restaurant was also good. Friendly staff.
Staff were very accommodating, had a couple of problems but they fixed them straight away.
House was in a good position for us to visit family in Lautoka.
