Absolutely stunning location. The accomodation was perfect and host lovely. It could not have been better. Stunning sunset from the beautiful dogwalking area - not that we had a dog, it was just a beautiful place to be. Thought of everything and so relaxing. Thank you
Location is excellent, views stunning, surrounded by wildlife. The Barn is gorgeous, the facilities are top notch. What a fabulous place.
Excellent staff, quiet location and beautiful grounds. I especially liked the fact that they left some corners of the garden for wildlife.
Peaceful, quiet location. Nice walks to the nearby beaches and towns and plenty of wildlife. Caravan was nice and had everything we needed for our stay.
A lovely place who knows how to take care of their guests. Maybe not the most upmarket of places but they get all the important things right; good service, friendly atmosphere, brilliant outdoor space, good food, hot shower and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful old building steeped in history, room very cozy with everything we needed. Hot shower and fluffy towels just perfect. Restaurant/bar had great food selection and our meal was fabulous. Absolutely could not fault anything
The decor was lovely, rooms great, especially the bathrooms. Comfy beds and rooms well stocked and topped up with tea/coffee and biscuits. Location great, lovely view from the veranda. Staff lovely and so accommodating. Would highly recommend.
I have to say the food, breakfast and dinner were as good as i have ever had and they gave you plenty of it, the deserts were also very good and a nice helping as well, all the breakfast you could eat and for some too much, all in all i would have no problem going back to this hotel.
I was in one of the Loughrigg single rooms, reminded me of my uni days! It's basic, but you aren't paying the price of a fancy hotel. There is tea, coffee, a cosy bed, a telly and a hot shower. The rooms were quiet and looked out onto trees, no no view. BEST PART: You can walk right down to the lake on a private path and take a dip off the jetty (if no boats) or in the bay next door. I had a swim at sunset and dawn and I saw herons and all sorts. Stunning!
