Breakfast was good and fresh. Room was quiet and the bathroom was really well equipped. The restaurant is really good and popular with locals as well as hotel guests.

Exceptional facilities and stunning building. Quite an experience. Loved how the cells have retained original stone. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and service brilliant. Lovely staff

A busy town and lots of traffic.
A busy town and lots of traffic. Worth exploring, but I didn't have the time, other than looking at the old jail. Good mid-way stopping point if travelling further into Cornwall.
The hotel served a very good breakfast and the evening meal was well prepared: the lamb that I had was beautifully cooked. The options for puddings were mainly cake-based and personally, I found my meringue option a tad sweet (as one might expect) with no pouring cream to calm it down!

The prison has the attraction of the museum with guided tours which are great fun The prison, now hotel is absolutely wonderful. Great gala night for new year with the best food ever. The Bodmin folk are so friendly and will advise on where to eat to suit your budget. The Eden project is a great trip to make even on a rainy day. Was visiting a sick relative in the hospital & hotel very convenient for that. Have always been in transit elsewhere so didn't know the town well. So attractive and clean. Very friendly people who readily helped direct or help in other ways. I have relatives who came from Probus and Devonshire so visited both counties from 1946 onwards and think changes by and large sensitive and well carried out. The beauty of the county and rural nature has been largely preserved and if controlled population increase measures are sympathetically controlled, the character of the county ought to be preserved along with its beauty.

A great experience, the renovation work is amazing throughout the hotel! We only stayed there for 1 night but we would have liked to have spend more time.
Comfortable beds, and a great spacious bathroom.
Great breakfast options.
Would be great to have gluten free options in the room service menu.
By far the best 3 star hotel I’ve stayed in. I was working in Cornwall so I chose something different from the usual premier inn. Lovely staff and a smashing restaurant with beautiful views over the golf course. Very quiet, so refreshing not to have to listen to hotels doors banging all night . And next time we stay my nephew owes one of the ladies a lighter as we borrowed theirs and he forgot to return it. Also a big thanks to the staff who made us sausage sandwiches to take away with us as we had to leave before breakfast started.
We requested a disabled parking space, but as there are none, the owner kindly placed a cone to reserve a space for us. Without asking we were then allocated a room right by the parking space which was very much appreciated.
We were welcomed on arrival and staff at breakfast were very cheery and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and provided all we needed and for once, lots of sachets of milk :) Bathroom was lovely and shower was easy to use. Good location - very close to Bodmin town centre and local pubs/restaurants.
Trevidgeowe Farm is an excellent location for visiting Bodmin and surrounding areas.
A beautiful house where we spent 2 nights in a very spacious Delux King Room. Very comfortable bed, large Ensuite with double walk in shower all beautifully decorated.
Excellant range of continental breakfast including homemade grenola and bread.
Our first choice will be to stay here when we next visit cornwall in the summer.
Emma your hostess will make you most welcome.
Our hosts made us so welcome and could not do more for us. You felt very safe in terms of Covid and a lovely
breakfast was cooked to your choice. The bed was so comfortable and the location is so peaceful, you are guaranteed a relaxing stay. We shall certainly stay again, when we are next in the area. The standard of cleanliness was the best you will ever get and our room and en-suite bathroom were both very spacious.
The property is spotlessly clean, during these times it was very reassuring. The location is very private and so quiet. The property has very good heating/cooling. Everything you need is provided. You feel very comfortable in the property from the outset. Its also very modern and built to a very high standard. As it is just outside of Bodmin transport to the rest of Cornwall/Devon is very easy.
Lots of space. If you were staying a while you would easily be able to unpack properly. Good breakfast. Swimming pool available in summer.
Very useful folder of information about the hotel and local area. Including the free Wi-Fi code - always appreciate not having to pay for Wi-Fi.
Hotel is in an excellent location for accessing both north and south coast of Cornwall.
Excellent value for money and a great option versus booking a hotel room. Chris was available online to answer any questions ahead of our visit and the accomodation met our expectations. Bonus to have parking on site and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Will definitely book again if back in Bodmin on business.
Absolutely stunning hotel full of history. We were able to take our dog with us, dog friendly is an understatement! Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help you. Especially there was a lady who I think was the manger who was just incredible. We can’t wait to go back, worth every penny!
The piece and quiet of this cottages location and the thoughtfulness of the host such as the welcome drinks and even treats for our dog that was a nice touch. very clean and tidy cottage ideal for exploring Cornwall and right in centre of bodmin Moor we would definitely stay again when next in Cornwall
After a long day of cycling across Cornwall I received a really warm welcome from the team, I might have been one of the few mid-week guests but I was really well looked after, nothing was too much trouble, and I had a really good evening meal, breakfast and the lodge was perfect.
Restaurant was excellent. Food was perfect on each occasion. Good supply of tea, milk etc. Comfortable furniture. Basic toiletries provided: shampoo, shower gel and soap. All staff encountered were excellent despite the hotel and restaurant being very busy.
The catering both at breakfast and in the evening is excellent as is the service. Accommodation is compact but we'll designed, modern and very clean. The village is lovely and we'll located for touring the area.
Colin and Sara is a very nice couple and they go out of there way 125% to make sure you have a good stay if I ever return to Bodmin Cornwall which I hope I do I will make sure I stay there again xx
Excellent hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. The room was excellent, immaculately clean and very comfortable. If I’m back in Cornwall again, I’ll make this my first choice
A proper home from home. The cottage had everything we needed. It was all up to date and the bed was lovely. Nice quiet spot within easy reach of destinations throughout Cornwall.
Overall it was excellent staying in Fore Street, Bodmin its also convenient as it's located in the town centre, no issue of parking, cleaned and well maintained
