We are very happy that we stayed in “La Grande Maison”. It was a very warm welcome. A comfortable bed, quiet in the room, delicious croissants for breakfast. Very cosy apartment in the mountains, with a super friendly host. She gave us a welcome drink, re-made our beds (we wanted 2 single beds), gave us good advice about some places nearby and generally had a great chat with her. The breakfast was amazing too. We had a stroll in the evening and stumbled on an industrial site for perfumes, that was an interesting experience. In the morning she recommended a perfume factory to visit and so we did, and it was really worth it!

Alan was the perfect host and had marked up a map for me with places of interest, recommendations of where to eat, and the best routes into and around the town. The apartment space was generously set out with a smart kitchenette, modern bathroom, and large sleeping and lounge space which were particularly well furnished. There is direct access to an outside space which includes a pool. The location is easily accessible from the train station and is a gentle level walk into the centre of Narbonne. Fresh bread and fruit was left for me each morning with all other condiments readily available in the kitchen including a coffee maker and kettle.

Domaine Labouroume er staðsett í aðeins 37 km fjarlægð frá Dax-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á gistirými í Salies-de-Béarn með aðgangi að garði, bar og alhliða móttökuþjónustu. Very nice place. The rooms are great. Aline was always in contact. We will be back for sure.

La petite hostellerie er gististaður í Uzès, 31 km frá Parc Expo Nîmes og 38 km frá aðallestarstöðinni í Avignon. Þaðan er útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. Great location very close to Place aux Herbes. Cosy kitchen available.

Jardin Bleu - Chambres d'hôtes er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Saint-Girons, 24 km frá Col de la Crouzette. Það býður upp á garð og fjallaútsýni. Loved this place and very comfortable, bright, and well decorated room. Staff were very friendly and bicycle storage was great. Breakfast was good but could have used some eggs or other protein option as we were bike touring.
